The Rings¶
Like Saturn. Like a tree. Each ring surrounds and protects everything inside it. Each ring boundary is a gate. Every gate has a key. Every key belongs to the parent.

The Family Ring — Home¶
The Family Ring is not a barrier between parent and child. It is the home they share together.
Parent and child exist in the same ring. They are not separated. They are not monitored against each other. They are a unit — sovereign, private, safe.
FAMILY RING — Private by Architecture
Members: Parent + Children + Trusted family (parent invited)
Privacy: Absolute — nothing leaves without parent consent
Data: None collected. None stored. None sold. Ever.
Default: PRIVATE — there is no public mode
Keys: Parent holds all of them
The Family Ring is the foundation. Every other ring is optional. The family decides together how far out they go — and the parent holds the keys to every door.

Every ring beyond the Family Ring requires explicit parent consent — every time. No dark patterns. No opt-out buried in settings. No consent assumed. No exceptions.

Privacy Is the Architecture¶
Every other platform makes private an opt-in. NeXuS makes private the only option for children.

This is not a privacy policy. Privacy policies can be changed. This is a design decision made before the first line of code — the data does not exist because it was never created.
The Kids Realm¶
Within the Community Ring, children have their own realm — age appropriate, community maintained, Oracle verified.

Earning in the Rings¶
Children are not passive consumers. They are contributors. They earn.
How children earn credits:

🤝 Help another child in the network → credits
🎯 Verified accurate answer → credits
🔮 Become a Junior Oracle → premium credits
Every credit earned is visible to the parent. Every credit spent requires parent authorization below the threshold the parent sets. Children learn the value of contribution, the meaning of privacy and the mechanics of a fair economy — from inside the safety of the Family Ring.
Growing Through the Rings¶
As children grow, they earn trust. The rings expand — but only with parent consent.
Age 6-10: Family Ring + curated Kids Realm only
Age 11-13: Friend Ring unlocks — parent approved contacts only
Age 14-16: School Ring expands — educator verified spaces
Age 17+: Community Ring — parent and child decide together
Adult: Full NeXuS sovereignty — their own keys, their own rings
The transition to full sovereignty is a milestone, not a sudden abandonment. The parent passes the keys. The child becomes the keyholder.
The Legal Foundation¶
Unequivocal parent domain rights mean compliance with every child privacy law globally is automatic — not a feature bolted on, but a consequence of the design.
